
Oaks, PA — Racing legend Erin Crocker Evernham will make a special appearance at the PPB Motorsports 2025 Show in Oaks, PA, on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her historic World of Outlaws Sprint Car victory.
As the only female driver to ever win a World of Outlaws race, Crocker Evernham remains a trailblazer in the world of motorsports. Fans will have the rare opportunity to hear her discuss her remarkable career, from Quarter Midgets to NASCAR, and to get an up-close look at her journey through the sport.
In addition to reliving the milestones of her career, Crocker Evernham will participate in a special Women’s in Racing Seminar on Saturday, sharing insights on her experiences as one of the most influential female drivers in motorsports history.
She will also be available for autograph signings throughout the day, giving fans a chance to meet the racing pioneer in person. The historical Sprint Car she drove to victory that has been restored to mint condition will also be on display along with a 10 x 10 photo montage.
Erin began her racing career at just seven years old, competing in Quarter Midgets in Connecticut. Her early success, including multiple championships, set the stage for a stellar career in various racing divisions. By 1999, she was racing in the Eastern Limited Sprint Series, where she was named Rookie of the Year.
In 2002, Erin entered the World of Outlaws series and two years later she became the first female driver series history to win a feature race, taking the victory in Tulare, California. A year later she became the first woman to qualify for the prestigious Knoxville Nationals in 2003.
Erin went on to earn the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Outstanding Newcomer Award and made significant strides in the sport, including a victory at the Tulsa Shootout in 2004.
Her NASCAR journey began when she joined Evernham Motorsports’ driver development program in 2005 and competed in the ARCA Series. In 2006, she made her full-time debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with the No. 98 competing at the highest level and continuing to break barriers for women in racing.
On Saturday afternoon, Erin will take the stage for a special conversation about her groundbreaking career, including her time racing in the World of Outlaws, her transition to NASCAR, and the challenges and triumphs of being a female competitor in a male-dominated sport.
She will also reflect on her journey sharing her experiences and lessons learned along the way. After a successful racing career, Erin shifted her focus to building a family with her husband, Ray Evernham, former crew chief and NASCAR team owner. The couple married in 2009, and they have since become parents to a daughter, Cate Susan Evernham, born in 2015.
In addition to her racing career, Erin is now a prominent broadcaster with the Motor Racing Network’s Winged Nation, where she continues to contribute to the motorsports world by sharing her insights and expertise. She will be joined on stage at the show by fellow MRN announcer Steve Post.
Ray Evernham’s 50 years in racing will also be celebrated at the Motorsports show. Evernham will take the stage both days and be available for autographs and signings of his newly released book, “Trophies and Scars” that will be available for purchase.NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Bill. Elliott, who won the Indianapolis Brickyard 400 driving for Evernham, will join Evernham on stage on Friday night. Elliott will also sign autographs both days of the show.
Several special race cars from Evernham’s person collection will be on display during the show along with over 200 race cars of all kinds on display, speedway and series exhibits and a large Hard Core Racer section and collectible displays, along with a full schedule of free racer seminars.
The Aqua Duck Water Transport-sponsored Ms. Motorsports competition will cap off Friday’s activities at 8 PM. Additionally, the Little Miss competition is planned for Saturday afternoon, along with the annual RAACE Foundation-sponsored Big Wheel races and a two-man Tire Change Competition.
