Ms. Motorsports 2017

A massive crowd swamped the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center on Day Two of the 2017 Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports Race Car & Trade Show on a day highlighted by the crowning of twenty-two-year-old, Taylor Albert of Annville, Pa., as Ms. Motorsports 2017.

The new Ms. Motorsports finished ahead of Lauren Fischer and Caitlin Puccio to claim the title.

“It’s a dream come true,” said Ms. Albert, a winner in her first Ms. Motorsports pageant over a field of fifteen entrants.

A wildly enthusiastic, standing-room-only crowd was on hand to witness the proceedings.

“I was a little bit nervous about it all,” Taylor said afterward. She confided that as late as five minutes before the pageant, she was still thinking about the contest, specifically, about executing her poses.

“When I got out on stage with all the other girls, I thought I was going to be fine, but I started to feel sick. I was pretty tense,” she said.

Afterward, during her ceremonial walk around the stage, Taylor needed a moment to regain her composure at one point.

The new Ms. Motorsports grew up at the races watching her father Scott race and now cheers on her boyfriend, Jared Umbenhauer in his racing endeavors.

Among the new Ms. Motorsports’ prizes were $1,500 first place cash award, a custom fitted Ms. Motorsports jacket, and a poster deal valued at $1,000.
