Who Will Be Lindsey Garl’s Aqua Duck Water Transport Ms. Motorsports 2024 Successor? Entries Now Being Accepted
Oaks, PA – It was nearly one year ago when 24-year-old Lindsey Garl was crowned Ms. Motorsports 2023 on opening night of the Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports Race Car & Trade Show. The Reading, PA beauty was the popular $2,500 winner among the 16 contestants in the Aqua Duck Water Transport sponsored competition held on the stage at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
Lindsey’s reign is now nearing an end and what a year it has been! In addition to being a high-profile ambassador for the PPB Motorsports Show, Lindsey continued her active role in the sport by racing weekly, in a Slingshot, and winning a championship at Shellhammer’s Speedway.
Her final act will be to crown her successor, Ms. Motorsports 2024, on Friday night, January 20th at the D-Hall Stage just prior to the show closing at 9:00 p.m. The 2024 winner will again receive $2,500, second $500 and third $250. A fan voted best in bathing suit winner will pick up $500 as well.
Immediately following the competition, a special post-event party will be held at the stage area featuring music, food and beer specials.
NASCAR racing legends Ken Schrader and Jimmy Spencer will be making special stage appearances to share their thoughts and answer questions.
Legendary car owner Bob Weikert will be remembered in a special tribute located inside the main entrance in D-Hall. Weikert’s career as a car owner will be featured with several of the famed Weikert’s Livestock No. 29 Sprint Cars on display and many past drivers in attendance. The exhibit will also include a 400-foot wall of photos from his career as a car owner.
Nearly 200 race cars of all kinds will once again be on display. Former NHRA drag racing champion Bruce Larson will be on hand next to his Dragon Snake Shelby Cobra.
The popular, free racers seminars will return in the newly enlarged for 2023 seminar room. The RAACE Foundation Big-Wheel races, which featured a record amount of entries in 2003, will be held in the stage area on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
The Hilton Gardens and Hampton Inn, located on the same property as the Expo Center, have been selected as this year’s show host hotel. Special room rates at the nearby Valley Forge Casino Resort Hotel are available at a discount rate at motorsportstradeshow.com.
